Bright Star Dance Academy

We set up Bright Star Dance Academy over in Uttarahalli, Pune. It’s not a huge studio with mirrors on every single wall, but it’s got enough room for people to move around. We mostly have local kids and some adults coming in for classes. The floor gets a bit scuffed from all the shoes, and we’re always sweeping up dust. Pune has some great weather for dancing, but it can get a bit stuffy inside when we have a full class, so we keep the windows open. We don’t follow any strict corporate rules or anything like that. It’s more about just showing up and practicing the moves. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud for the neighbors, but they’ve mostly gotten used to us by now. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing budget. Usually, people just see our name when they’re walking through the neighborhood or hear about us from a friend. We spend our evenings teaching and our mornings cleaning up or picking out new music. It’s a lot of work on your feet, and we’re often tired by the time we lock up. But it’s what we do. It’s just a local spot for people who want to learn a few steps. We try to keep it simple and friendly for everyone who walks through the door.
