Brigade School

This school is tucked inside the Brigade Millennium campus over in JP Nagar 7th Phase. If you live in the complex, it’s a short walk. For others, they have to come through the gates. It’s a large building. We have several floors and the layout can be a bit confusing if you’re new. The grounds are kept okay, but there's always something needing repair. We see a lot of the same families because they live right here. Mornings are a rush of uniforms and heavy bags. The staff room is usually a mess of tea cups and notebooks. We have the usual subjects and some sports out on the field. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the classrooms without the best breeze. We don’t have any flashy signs out on the main road, just the ones inside the residential area. People know where we are. It’s a standard school day. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so kids take the stairs. We try to stay on schedule with the bells, but things happen. It’s just a regular place for the kids in the neighborhood to get their schooling done. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes the rain makes the commute difficult for those coming from outside the phase, but the kids still show up eventually. We just carry on with the lessons as planned and try to get through the day.
