Bon Food

Bon Food is a small place located at 9th Cross, 1st Phase in JP Nagar. It’s a mostly residential area, so we get a lot of neighbors stopping by. We started this place because we wanted to have something simple in the locality. The space is not very large, just enough for a few people to sit and some room for the cooking area. We do a variety of dishes, mostly things that are easy to prepare and eat. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on 9th Cross. Other times, everyone seems to want dinner at the exact same moment, and we are rushing to keep up. We don’t have a fancy sign or a big marketing budget. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about it from someone else in the building. The walls are painted a plain color and we keep the decorations to a minimum. It’s more about the food than how the place looks. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times and the front door sticks in the rainy season. That’s just part of having a shop in an older part of JP Nagar. We are just regular people making food for whoever comes through the door. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living and stay busy in the neighborhood. We focus on getting the cooking right and serving the locals who visit.
