Bombay Style Vada Paw

Bombay Style Vada Paw is located right in the middle of Electronic City. We don't have a complicated setup, just a straightforward place where we make food every day. The name pretty much says what we do. We try to bring that specific taste from Bombay over here to this busy tech hub. It gets very crowded during the lunch hour when everyone comes out of their offices. We are usually moving fast then, frying up the patties and getting the buns ready. The oil is always hot, and the smell of spices usually hangs around the doorway. We don't have a big dining room or anything like that. People mostly grab their food and head back to work or stand around outside. It’s a simple operation with just a few of us working the stove and the counter. We’ve learned to deal with the rush and the heat. Electronic City is a fast place, but we try to keep our service steady. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the same pots and pans we've had for a while. Sometimes we run out of bread earlier than expected if the day is particularly busy. We don't have a mission statement or a big philosophy. We just want to make sure the food is hot and ready when someone is hungry. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but we’re used to it by now. We close up when the food runs out.
