Bombay Steel

Our shop, Bombay Steel, is tucked away on Godown Street, specifically at New 3/3. If you are looking for us, we are right near Chandra Vihar Lodge. This street is always full of activity, with trucks loading and unloading steel all day long. It gets pretty loud with the sound of metal clanging against metal. We deal with all sorts of steel parts and supplies. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or dust by noon. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a functional space where we keep everything stacked up. You might have to step over a few pipes to get to the counter. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regulars by name. We just focus on getting people the steel they need for their projects. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just a lot of lifting and organizing. Sometimes we run out of a specific size and have to wait for the next truck, but that’s just how it goes. The location on Godown Street is perfect for what we do because it’s meant for this kind of heavy stuff. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find us, it’s simple. We just keep the doors open and stay busy with the orders. It is just a regular steel godown run by regular people.
