We are tucked away in the Sn Hostel building over in Madiwala. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic gets around here. Our office is basically a few rooms where we handle all the tech stuff for Blanid Technology. It’s not a fancy corporate glass building or anything. Most days it’s just us with our laptops and a lot of wires running across the floor. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, but we get the work done. The guys here have been working together for a while now. We started small and we’re still pretty much a tight group. You’ll find us mostly stuck to our screens or arguing about some code over tea. There is a small tea stall just outside the hostel gate where we spend our breaks. Madiwala is always loud with the buses going to Hosur, but it feels like home for us. We don’t really do big meetings with suits. If someone comes by, they usually just pull up a plastic chair. It is practical and it works for what we do. We manage the software side of things and keep the servers running. It’s just regular work by regular people who happen to know a lot about computers. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals know us as the tech guys in the hostel.
