Bishop Cotton Boys' School

Bishop Cotton Boys' School is right at 15, Residency Road. Being in the heart of the city means we deal with a lot of noise and traffic all day long. The old gates have seen a lot of history, and the buildings have that worn-in feel that only comes with time. It’s a busy corner of Bengaluru, and you can always hear the horns honking outside. We have a lot of old trees on the grounds that provide some shade from the sun. The hallways are wide and the ceilings are high, which helps keep things a bit cool. We don't really do anything fancy to dress the place up; the stone walls speak for themselves. Every morning is a bit of a scramble with parents dropping off their kids on Residency Road. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We’ve got the classrooms, the fields, and the offices where we do all the administrative stuff. There’s always a tap leaking or a window that needs fixing, but that’s what happens with an old place like this. We just keep things moving along. It’s not a polished corporate environment; it’s a school that’s been part of the city for a long time. We just show up, do our jobs, and try to keep some order in the middle of all the city chaos.
