You can find Birla Sun Life Insurance Co at Maruthi Plaza. We are on the first floor on Lad Society Road in the Bodakdev area. It’s right near the Gandhi Nagar Market which is a very busy place to be. We are tucked away in the plaza so it’s a bit quieter once you get inside. We handle insurance work every day. People come in from the market or the surrounding neighborhood to talk about their plans. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at computer screens. The office is pretty basic. We have chairs for people to wait in and some folders stacked up. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just help people with their insurance policies and answer questions they have. Being near the Gandhi Nagar Market means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. Sometimes the noise drifts in but we just keep working through it. It’s a good location because everyone knows where the market is. We try to be helpful without making things more complicated than they need to be. Insurance is already confusing enough for most people. We just sit down, have a glass of water, and go through the details together. It’s a regular job in a regular office and we like the routine of it. There are usually a few of us here every day making sure the paperwork gets filed correctly. That is our daily life here.
