Bhagyavathi Gift Fancy Store

Our little shop is tucked into Shahu Colony in New Thippasandra. It is a small place at number 49 2, but we manage to fit a whole lot of items inside. You will find all sorts of things on the shelves, ranging from plastic toys for kids to colorful bangles and hair clips. It gets pretty crowded if more than three people walk in at the same time. We try to keep the items in some kind of order, but children often move things around while they are looking, and we don't mind that much. This is a neighborhood spot where people stop by on their way home to grab a quick gift or some notebooks for school. We have watched the neighborhood kids grow up over the years. Some of them used to come in for stickers and now they are buying things for their own children. It makes the day go by a lot faster when you have people to talk to. The lighting is not the best and the wooden shelves are getting a bit old, but the shop works for what we need. We spend a good amount of time dusting the glass cases because the road outside is busy. Gift wrapping is a big part of what we do, especially when there is a festival coming up. It can get a bit hectic then, but we just take it one customer at a time. It is a simple local business.
