Out here in Nithyanandanagar, near Gollahalli Post, the Bgs International Residential School sits on a pretty big piece of land. Since it’s a residential setup, the atmosphere is a bit different from your typical day school. There’s a lot of coming and going, especially on weekends when parents visit. Kengeri Hobli is a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice because it’s quieter and there’s more room for the kids to breathe. The dorms and the classrooms are all part of the same big landscape. Living and learning in the same place means the students get to know each other really well, almost like a second family, even if they get homesick sometimes. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day life of several hundred kids. It’s not just about the lessons in the books; it’s about making sure everyone gets their meals, stays healthy, and follows the schedule. The staff stays on campus too, so there’s always someone around if something comes up in the middle of the night or early morning. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size running smoothly. You won’t find any corporate buzzwords here, just people doing their jobs to keep the lights on and the kids fed and educated. The grounds have plenty of space for sports, which keeps everyone busy after the main classes end. It’s a practical way of living for the students while they finish their schooling and move on to whatever is next for them.
