Beijing Bites

Whitefield 62 is where we are located. Beijing Bites has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. Whitefield is a fast place with all the IT parks and new buildings going up everywhere. Our shop is a bit simpler than some of the big glass towers around us. We have a kitchen that stays busy from late morning until well into the night. A lot of our business is actually people calling in for delivery because nobody wants to drive in the Whitefield traffic if they don't have to. We see the delivery riders coming in and out all day long. Inside the shop at 62, it’s pretty straightforward. We have the seating area and the counter where we take the orders. The phone rings a lot. We don't have a polished corporate script for when we answer. We just take the details and get the kitchen started. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when there are a lot of people waiting for their takeaway bags. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a busy environment. The smell of ginger and garlic is pretty much stuck in our clothes by the time we go home. It’s a solid routine. We don't try to be fancy. We just keep the burners going and make sure the boxes are packed right before they head out into the street.
