Beereswara Provision Store

Beereswara Provision Store has been a part of Gayathri Nagar for quite some time now. You can find us at Kamakshi Palya 8th Cross, 1st Main. It’s a typical corner shop. We sell the basic things people need every day like rice, oil, and soap. The shelves are always a bit crowded because we try to fit as much as possible. It’s just us working here, usually from early morning until late at night. We know most of the families around the neighborhood. Kids come in for sweets after school and we chat with the elders who stop by for their daily supplies. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We don’t have a computer system, we just use a notebook and a calculator. It works fine for us. Sometimes the delivery guy comes late and we have to wait around. The street is usually quiet except for the occasional scooter. We like being in this part of town. It feels like home. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People just know we’re here. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’re happy with how things are. We keep the beans and grains in big sacks near the back. Usually, the morning rush is the hardest part of the whole day.
