It’s a bit of a maze around here, but once you find us, you’ll see we’re just a hardworking group of people. We’ve been in this location for many years, cooking for all sorts of folks. We don't go in for fancy talk or expensive advertising. Our reputation is mostly built on what people say after they eat our food. The kitchen is always a bit hot and there’s always something bubbling on the stove. We start our day when most people are still sleeping, getting things ready for the lunch rush and evening events. We use recipes that have been around for a long time. We don't see any reason to change things that already work. It’s a physical job, hauling heavy pots and spending hours over the heat. We don't mind it because it’s the life we chose. Being near Commercial Street means we get a lot of different people coming through. We like the variety and the constant movement of the area.
