Basha General Stores

We have been here in Ulsoor for quite a while now. Most folks just drop by when they need something quick for their kitchen or some basic household items. It is a bit crowded inside sometimes because we try to stock as much as we can fit on the old shelves. You know how it is with general stores, there is always something someone is looking for that we have to dig out from the back corner. We open early in the morning and stay open until fairly late most nights. My father started this place and now a few of us keep it going. We see the same faces every day, which is nice for a local shop. It is not a big supermarket or anything like that, just a regular place where you can get your pulses, soaps, and snacks. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a bit, but the neighbors are patient enough with us. We do not really have a fancy computer system, just a ledger and some crates. It is a lot of work carrying the heavy sacks around but it keeps us busy. If we do not have what you want, we usually try to get it in by the next week. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years with new buildings going up, but we are still in the same spot. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and people calling out, but inside it is just the usual smells of spices and soap. We do not have any big signs or advertisements, just the name on the board.
