Bangalore Food Factory

Our kitchen is tucked away in Byappanahalli, at No. 42 on the ground floor. It’s an old building, previously No. 98, off Madras Road on the 2nd Cross. This neighborhood is a bit of a mix with houses and small factories all around. We aren't on a main road where a lot of people walk by, so most of our customers are people who live or work nearby and know where we are. We have a basic setup for cooking and a small area for people to pick up their orders. It’s mostly about the cooking here. The stove is almost always on, and the place smells like spices and fried onions. We don't have fancy signs or big windows. It’s just a practical space where we make food every day. The street outside is narrow, and sometimes the delivery bikes have a hard time turning around. We’ve been here for a while and we know most of the neighbors. We start early in the morning to get things ready for the lunch orders. It gets quite hot inside when we have all the burners going, so we keep the back door open for some air. It’s just a simple food business run by a few of us who enjoy being in the kitchen. We focus on making the food right and getting it out on time. There’s nothing much else to it, just a local kitchen in Byappanahalli. We keep working until the last order is done.
