Banarasi Chat Centre

Banarasi Chat Centre is located on Hennur Road in the Pimpri Chinchwad area. We aren't a big restaurant with waiters and menus. It’s more of a place where you just stand and eat whatever is fresh that day. We’ve been setting up here for a while, and the spot on Hennur Road has become our second home. It’s always dusty and noisy outside with the cars going by, but that’s just how this part of town is. We spend the whole morning prepping the ingredients and boiling the potatoes. Everything is done by hand in our small kitchen space. There’s no big corporate team behind us, just a couple of us working the counter and making sure the chutneys are ready. Sometimes we argue about how much spice to put in, but we usually figure it out. The regulars come by in the late afternoon when the sun starts to go down. It gets really busy then, and it’s hard to keep up with the orders. We don't have any fancy chairs or air conditioning. You just grab your plate and find a spot to stand. If we look tired, it’s probably because we’ve been on our feet since five in the morning. We just focus on keeping the place running and serving whoever walks up to the counter. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy here in Pimpri Chinchwad and we're used to it now. We don't need much else.
