Balaji Selection Centre

We are at number 8 in Vadgaon Budruk, over in the Ulsoor area. Balaji Selection Centre isn't a massive warehouse or a shiny mall shop. It’s just a regular building where we keep our stock and talk to our customers. Ulsoor is a great place to be because there is so much life around the lake and the local streets. Our shop is a bit tucked away, but once you find number 8, you’re in the right place. We spend a lot of time looking through different items to see what fits best for the people who shop here. It’s a lot of choosing and picking, which is why we call it a selection centre. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of variety on hand. You might have to move a chair to get to a shelf, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a staff in uniforms or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. We don’t use any complicated sales tactics. We just show you what we have and let you decide. Some days it’s just us and the radio playing in the background while we sort through new arrivals. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Ulsoor. We’re just trying to provide a good variety of things for the folks who live around here.
