Balaji Condiments

We are Balaji Condiments, and you can find us at Yeshwantpur 6th Main, number 177. If you know Yeshwantpur, you know how busy the 6th Main can get, especially when the market is in full swing. Our shop is a small one, tucked into the row of buildings, and we’ve got number 177 marked on the door. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and the smell of coffee and tea. We spend our time weighing out things and talking to the neighbors who stop by for their daily supplies. It’s not a fancy job, but it’s what we do. The street outside is usually lined with scooters and people walking fast to get to the station. Sometimes it gets so dusty that we have to wipe down the counters every hour, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't have a website or any of those modern things; we just rely on people seeing us when they walk past. The morning sun hits the front of the shop quite hard, so we usually have a small shade pulled down. We know most of our customers by name, and we know exactly what they want before they even ask. It’s a quiet kind of life in a noisy part of town. We just keep the jars filled and the floors swept, waiting for the next person to come in. We don't plan on moving anytime soon.
