Babu Caterers

We operate Babu Caterers from a small spot on Indra Gandhi Street in A Narayanpura. We’re at No.46, which is on the 3rd Cross and quite near to Mythri School. If you’re in the Dooravaninagar area, you probably know where we are. It’s a busy neighborhood, especially when school is letting out. We’ve been doing this for several years now. It started small and slowly grew into what it is today. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the kitchen running and provide good meals for the events we’re hired for. Our staff is mostly local folks who know the area well. We spend a lot of time sourcing ingredients and then even more time prepping them. There’s a lot of washing, cutting, and grinding that goes on before the actual cooking even starts. We don't mind the hard work because it’s what we know. Sometimes we stay late into the night to make sure everything is ready for an early morning delivery. It’s a simple life, focused on the rhythm of the kitchen. We don't put much stock in flashy presentations. For us, it’s all about the flavor and making sure there’s enough for everyone to be full. We like being a part of this community and seeing familiar faces every day. It’s a straightforward business built on long days and a lot of effort.
