B Town Unisex Hair Studio

We've been at North Road for a while now. Most people know us because we're right near Altaf’s Chillis, so the smell of food is always around. Cooke Town is a nice place to have a shop. It gets busy on Hutchins Road, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Our space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. We have some chairs and the usual stuff you’d expect in a hair studio. People come in, get their hair done, and usually chat for a bit. It’s mostly locals who live around here or work nearby. We see the same faces often. Some days are loud with music and talking, other days it’s just the sound of scissors. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. People just walk in or call us. The street outside can be a bit crowded with parked bikes and cars, but that’s just how Bangalore is. We try to keep the place tidy, though sometimes hair gets everywhere during a busy rush. It’s just how things go. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we’re still here at number 32/1. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and wait for the first person to walk through the door.
