B S T Masala Powder

We’ve been here at Kodigehalli for a good while now. The shop is located right on Thindlu Main Road in Vidyaranyapura, specifically at numbers 235 and 415. People around here know us for the B S T Masala Powder. It’s a busy spot. Most days we are just busy grinding and packing things up. It gets a bit dusty with all the spices, but that's just how it is when you’re making masala. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us working out of these two units. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for deliveries to get in and out, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. More houses have come up, and the road has gotten way busier than it used to be. We just keep doing what we do every day. If you walk past, you can usually smell the spices from the street. It’s a strong smell, but we’re used to it by now. We try to keep things simple here. No big corporate meetings or anything. Just the daily work of getting the powder ready. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Bangalore, just a local spot that people know. It's a lot of manual work, honestly. We spend most of our time making sure the machines are running right and the bags are filled up. That's pretty much the whole story of B S T Masala Powder. Working here has its ups and downs, but it is a living.
