B S Srikantaiah

We’ve been here at 6 Shankar Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around Sri Kanteshwara Nagar know where 5th Cross is, just off the 1st Main. It’s a quiet spot but we keep busy enough. B S Srikantaiah isn’t a big operation with fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we do every day. Dealing with the neighbors and folks who drop by is the best part of the job. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit much, but once you turn into our street, it calms down. We don’t really go in for big speeches or trying to sound like something we aren't. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ll give them a straight answer. The building is simple, nothing to look at twice, but it works for what we need. We've seen the area change over the years, more buildings going up and more cars on the 5th Cross, but we’re still here in the same place. If you’re walking down 1st Main, you can’t really miss the turn. It’s just a local place run by local people. We handle things as they come and try to keep things organized without making a fuss. That’s pretty much the story of how we run things here. No bells or whistles, just the daily work. Our little corner of the world hasn't changed much even as the city grows around us.
