B G S World School sits right in the middle of Nagarur Colony in Nelamangala. If you’ve ever walked down this way in the morning, you know how it sounds. There are buses turning the corners and parents trying to get their kids inside before the gates close. The building isn't brand new, but it holds up well against the rain. We spend a lot of time cleaning the chalk dust off the floors and making sure the benches are straight. It’s not fancy. The fans hum all afternoon, and sometimes the power goes out, so we just open the windows to let some air in. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with notebooks and half-finished cups of tea. We don’t have any big corporate offices here. It’s just us and the classrooms. In the evenings, after the children head home to Nelamangala, the place gets really quiet. You can hear the birds in the trees nearby. Sometimes we stay late to finish grading or just to organize the sports gear in the shed. People around here know where we are. We don’t really use big signs or anything. The gate has some rust on the bottom hinges, but it still locks tight at night. Most days are just about keeping things moving. We make sure there’s water in the coolers and that the playground isn't too muddy after a storm. It’s a normal place where work gets done every single day.
