Our office is situated at MC Layout 99, right near the 7th Main on Magadi Road in Vijaya Nagar. It’s a pretty busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We use this spot to handle all the Avon distribution for this side of the city. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of metal shelving and a few plastic chairs for when people need to wait. We spend a lot of time counting out bottles and making sure the orders match the invoices. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding a place to pull over, so we have to run out and help them unload quickly. The office itself is nothing special to look at, just plain walls and a lot of paperwork on the desks. We try to keep the stock moving so things don't get too dusty. In the summers, it gets quite warm, so we have a few fans going all the time. It’s a practical workspace, not a fancy boutique. We get people from all over the neighborhood dropping by, some looking for specific creams and others just wanting to chat for a minute. We know most of the regulars by name now. It’s the kind of place where you can just come in, get what you need, and head out. We don’t do much in the way of decorating, mostly just keeping the boxes organized and the floor swept.
