Our saloon, Aurah Life Style Saloon For Women, is located at number 114 in Kalyan Nagar. It’s a dedicated space just for women to come and get their hair and skin taken care of. We keep the place simple and clean, but it’s definitely not a high-end luxury spa. It’s more of a neighborhood hangout where people come for their regular threading or a quick hair wash. We have a few stylists who have been with us for a while and they know exactly how the locals like their hair done. The room is usually filled with the smell of shampoo and the sound of people talking about their week. We don’t have a big corporate structure, it’s just us running the shop day to day. Sometimes we run out of a specific product and have to make do with something else, but we always tell the customers the truth about it. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming here on their own over the years. That’s the nice thing about being in a place like Kalyan Nagar. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure our customers leave feeling a bit better than when they walked in. It’s honest work and we really like the people we meet. It is just a normal shop for normal people to get things done.
