Asst Team Lead

Being in 7th Block Koramangala means there is always something happening right outside our front door. This part of Bangalore is crowded and loud most of the time, but we have grown to like it that way over the years. We call ourselves Asst Team Lead, which is a bit of a funny name if you really stop to think about it, but it just stuck with us after some time. We are usually here from early in the morning until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. The traffic around here is a total nightmare sometimes, especially near the main junctions during peak hours, so we usually just walk or take a bike to get around the neighborhood. The office isn't much to look at from the street side. It’s just a regular room where we sit together and get through the daily tasks. We have a few desks and a coffee machine that barely works half the time. People stop by sometimes just to chat or ask for directions because we are right in the middle of everything in the block. It’s mostly just a few of us working together. We don’t do big meetings or anything corporate like that. We just focus on the specific work that is right in front of us. Koramangala has changed a lot since we started, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We know the local chai wala and the security guards nearby. It’s a decent place to be.
