Asiatic India is located over on Sadar Patrappa Road, or what most people just call S P Road. It’s always crowded there, no matter what time of day you show up. We are on the 2nd floor of number 18. It is right near Bombay Metals, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. If you can find them, you can find us. You have to walk up the stairs since it's an older building. The stairs are a bit narrow and sometimes there are boxes sitting out, so you have to watch your step. S P Road is famous for being the place for all sorts of things, so there is always noise from the street coming up through the windows. It’s a lot of shouting and horns honking all day. We’ve been in this 2nd-floor space for a good while. It’s not a very large area, but we have everything squeezed in where it belongs. The lighting isn't the best in the hallway, but once you get inside our place, it's fine. Dealing with the traffic to get here is the hardest part. Most of the people working around here have been here for years, so we all know each other. It’s a tight-knit spot despite how busy it is. We just focus on getting the work done and heading home before the evening rush gets even worse than it already is, usually. Sometimes the rain makes the street noise even louder.
