Ashok Brothers

You can find us at 57/3 on Sadar Patrappa Road, which most people just call SP Road. It is one of those streets where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. Ashok Brothers has been right here for years, surrounded by other shops selling wires, tools, and all sorts of hardware. The street is narrow and always full of people pushing carts or riding scooters, so it’s a very lively place to work. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We spend our days helping people who come in looking for specific parts or just some advice on what they need for a project. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the shop on S J P Road and find us behind the counter. The air is always full of the sound of people bargaining and metal clanking. It’s an honest way to make a living. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the block, so there’s a bit of a community feel despite the chaos. Some days are longer than others, especially when we’re doing inventory or getting a big shipment in. We just take it one customer at a time and try to keep the shelves organized, even if it feels like a losing battle most of the time.
