My office is tucked away at 2795 Rajajinagar inside the Dasappa Mansion. It’s a sturdy old building that has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. I have been working here for quite some years now and I’ve grown used to the way the light comes through the windows in the afternoon. It is just a simple setup with my desk, a few chairs for whoever comes to visit, and my filing cabinets. I don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate structure behind me. It is mostly just me handling the work that comes across my desk every day. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely, but the other people in the building are friendly enough when we pass each other in the hallway. I don't go in for any of that modern office decor with bright colors or bean bags. My space is very functional and maybe a little bit dull to someone from the outside. I spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at my keyboard. The traffic in Rajajinagar can be quite loud, especially during the morning rush, but once I close my door it’s quiet enough to get things done. I don't really have a big sign outside, people usually find me through word of mouth or by looking for the mansion address. It’s a very modest way of doing business and that suits me just fine.
