Aroy

Being over here on A S Char Street in JP Nagar means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. Aroy is just a small spot at number 74 where we keep things simple and try to get the food out fast. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always noise from the street coming through the door. We don't spend much time worrying about decorations or anything like that because the main thing is just keeping the kitchen running smoothly. The staff stays busy prepping ingredients and washing up between the rushes. Sometimes the line gets a bit long and people have to wait, but we do what we can with the space we have. It’s mostly just hard work and long hours standing on our feet. We opened up because we like this part of JP Nagar and it felt like a good place to set up a kitchen. Every morning starts with a lot of chopping and getting the stoves ready for the first customers. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that, we just want to make sure people get what they ordered and go home satisfied. The air in here usually smells like whatever is cooking on the high heat and we've gotten used to the hustle of the city right outside our window. It’s a plain place but it’s ours and we are here every day until the last customer leaves and the lights go out.
