Aroy

Aroy is located over in JP Nagar on A S Char Street 74. It’s a street that stays pretty busy with people walking to the nearby market. We’ve been here for a while now, and the building is starting to show its age a bit. There are some cracks in the tiles and the ceiling fans make a clicking sound when they are on the highest speed. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just a few people in the kitchen and one person at the front. Most of the day is spent cleaning vegetables or washing the heavy pots we use. It’s a lot of manual work that leaves your back aching by the time four o’clock hits. We get a lot of students from the area who are looking for something to eat. They usually sit around for a long time talking, which is fine as long as it’s not too crowded. We don’t have fancy menus with pictures. It’s just a list on the wall that we update if we run out of something. Sometimes the delivery bikes block the front entrance and we have to go out and ask them to move. It’s just the usual daily headaches you get running a place on a street like this. We just keep going and try to stay organized. It’s just how it goes here.
