Aroma Touch Unisex Salon Spa is over at Kemps Corner in Ulsoor. We’re at the 38/9 address, and it’s a spot where both men and women come by to get their hair sorted out. We’ve got the spa side of things too, which stays pretty busy on the weekends. Working in Ulsoor means you meet all sorts of people. We spend a lot of time making sure the shop looks decent and that the equipment is working like it should. It isn’t a high-end corporate place, just a regular salon where we try to do a good job. We have a few different rooms for different things, and we try to keep them all organized. Some days the traffic at Kemps Corner makes it hard for people to park, but they usually find a way. We like the area because everything you need is close by. We don’t use any complicated scripts when we talk to people. We just ask them what they want and get to work. The mirrors are large and we have some good chairs that have lasted us a long time. It’s hard work, especially when it’s busy and everyone is waiting, but we just take it one person at a time. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good when the Bangalore sun gets hot outside.
