Army Public School

Army Public School is located on Kamaraj Road, right in the Fm Cariappa Colony. It’s a very specific part of Sivanchetti Gardens that feels quite old and established. The trees around here are huge and provide a lot of shade for the walkways. We have a lot of history in this building. You can tell by the way the floors are worn down in certain spots where thousands of kids have walked. Kamaraj Road is usually busy, but once you get inside the gates of the colony, things quiet down a bit. We have a big playground where the grass is a bit patchy because of all the sports. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the corners of this place like the back of our hands. It’s not a shiny new facility. It’s a place with character. We have some old desks and cabinets that have been here for decades. Sivanchetti Gardens is a nice area to be in, and we feel lucky to have this spot. The mornings are filled with the sound of whistles and kids shouting. It’s a bit chaotic during the lunch break, as you can imagine. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for the kids in the colony to get their schooling done. The routine is the same every day and that suits us just fine.
