Arkin Institute

Our place is in Btm Layout 2nd Stage on Murphy Road at number 75. It’s a busy area with lots of students and young professionals walking around all the time. The institute isn't very large, but we’ve made use of every bit of space we have. We’ve got classrooms with benches and whiteboards that are usually covered in notes by the end of the evening. We spend our days preparing materials and making sure the projectors are actually working. Sometimes the traffic on Murphy Road makes it hard to hear, so we keep the doors shut tight. There’s a small desk at the entrance where someone usually sits to answer the phone and talk to anyone who walks in. It’s a simple setup without any bells or whistles. We have a bookshelf in the corner that’s overflowing with old textbooks and folders. Most of the people who come here are preparing for exams or trying to learn a new subject after their regular classes. It’s a dedicated group of folks. We don’t have a fancy lounge, just a water dispenser and a few stools. The lighting could be a bit brighter, but it works for what we need. It’s just a local spot where people come to put in the work and get their studying done in a quiet environment away from home. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many books and papers, it's always a bit of a struggle.
