Our workshop is at D110 in Prakash Nagar. You have to go down 3rd Cross and 1st Main to find us. We’re right near the Yamaha showroom, which is a good way to know you’re on the right track. This place is usually loud because of the machines running. We work with metal and tools all day long. It’s greasy work, and our hands are rarely clean. The shop has been here for a good amount of time, and we’ve got a lot of heavy equipment packed into the space. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just open the big doors to let some air in. We don't have a front office or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk right into the middle of the workspace. We make parts and fix tools for other businesses around the city. It’s the kind of job where you see the results of your work right in front of you. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be finished. The neighbors in Prakash Nagar are mostly other small shops, so we all know each other. It’s a tight-knit street. We aren't trying to be the biggest machine shop out there; we just want to do the work correctly so the machines we fix don't break down again. It’s honest labor, and that’s about all there is to the story of our daily routine.
