Apt Career

We are based at Sharon Villa, which is number 11 in Koramangala. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has a nice, comfortable feel to it. Apt Career is the name on the door. We work on career-related things, mostly helping people figure out their next steps in life. It’s a lot of talking and looking at resumes all day. The office itself is actually pretty small. We have a couple of rooms and a tiny area where we keep the kettle for tea. Koramangala is always moving and changing, so there’s always some noise coming in from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us who have been doing this for a while now. We don't use any fancy software to talk to each other; we usually just shout across the hall if we need something. It works well enough for us. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little bit near the front window, but we just put a bucket there and keep going with our tasks. We like the independence of being a small shop. People usually find us through word of mouth rather than ads. We don't spend money on big advertising campaigns. We just focus on the person sitting in front of us at the desk. It’s a simple way to run a business. We’ve seen Koramangala change from a quiet place to what it is now, but Sharon Villa stays pretty much the same.
