Applied Optics Inc is situated at 574 on New Bel Road. If you know Bangalore, you know New Bel Road is always moving. It’s one of those streets that never seems to take a break. Our spot is just a regular building among many others. We don't have a giant lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and our equipment. The number 574 is what you want to look for. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but you get used to the city sounds after a week or two. Working here means being right in the middle of everything. You can step out and find whatever you need in a few minutes. The building itself is older but sturdy. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front looks; we're more interested in what’s happening inside. It’s a practical place for practical work. Most people who come by are just here for a specific reason and they don't stay long. We like it that way. It’s just a honest day’s work in a very busy part of town. There are plenty of trees along the road which is nice when the sun is really hitting the pavement. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We are usually here from nine until the evening when the lights come on.
