Appearance Hair Beauty is our little shop over on 11th Main in Byrasandra. We are located in the 5th Block, at 40/11. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area well. I opened this place because I’ve always liked working with hair. It’s not just about cutting; it’s about how people feel. We get all kinds of people coming in. Some want a whole new look and others just want a quick trim so their hair stays out of their eyes. The shop is usually filled with the smell of shampoo and hairspray. We have a radio that plays old songs in the background most of the day. It’s a bit of a habit now. Sometimes the 11th Main road gets really crowded with scooters, so parking can be a bit of a headache. I tell people to try and walk if they live close by. We have a couple of big windows that let in a lot of light, which helps when I’m doing more detailed work. It’s just a simple, local business. We don't have any fancy machines or anything, just good scissors and a steady hand. My assistant is a local girl who is still learning, but she’s getting really good at the head massages. We keep things pretty casual here. If you want to chat, we chat. If you want to sit in silence, that’s fine too. That’s just how we run things every single day.
