Apec Consulting Engineers

We’re located over in Vijaya Bank Colony, just off the main Banergatta Road. Apec Consulting Engineers is on Plot 1065-W, right around 9th Cross and 9th Main. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s actually quite nice and peaceful compared to the main road traffic. We do engineering consulting, which mostly involves a lot of technical drawings and checking regulations. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and staring at screens, but we try to get out to sites whenever we can. Our team is a mix of older guys who have seen it all and younger folks who are better with the new software. It’s a good balance. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s more like a group of people who happen to be good at math and design. We drink a lot of tea and sometimes argue about the best way to solve a structural problem. There’s no fancy mission statement here. We just try to make sure things are built right and won't fall down. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we don't talk about it in a grand way. We just do the calculations and move on to the next task. It’s steady, quiet work in a nice part of town. The garden outside our office needs a bit of weeding, but we’re usually too busy with blueprints to get to it. That’s just the way it is with us.
