About Ap Food Point – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
If you walk down the lane at BTM 2nd Stage near number 749, you’ll see our small counter. It’s not much to look at from the outside, just a simple spot where we cook whatever is on the menu for the day. Ap Food Point started because we saw how many people around here were working late and needed a proper meal that didn't cost a fortune. The kitchen is small, so things get pretty hectic around lunchtime when the office workers arrive. We don't have a lot of tables, so you’ll often see people standing on the sidewalk eating out of paper plates. We try to keep things clean, but it’s hard when the street is so busy and the wind blows dust around. The stove is almost never off from morning until late at night. We use a lot of local spices we get from the market nearby, and the smell usually draws people in. There isn't a manager in a suit here; it’s just us in our aprons trying to keep the orders moving. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes by 2 PM, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s how we've always done it. We know most of our regulars by what they order before they even open their mouths. It’s a nice little community we’ve got going on this corner of BTM.
