Aone Mens Parlour

This shop is on the 1st floor at No. 17/1 on Sultanpalya Main Road. It is in R T Nagar near the South Indian bank ATM. You have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to Aone Mens Parlour. Being on the first floor is okay because I can look out of the window at the people using the ATM below. Sometimes there is a long queue and people look bored. Inside the shop I have the basic things for men’s grooming. The chairs are old but they still spin around well. I have a radio that I play softly sometimes but mostly it is just the sound of the clippers. I’ve been in this building for a few years. The walls could use a new coat of paint maybe but I haven't had the time. It gets a bit dusty because of the main road but I try to keep the place decent. I see a lot of the same faces every month. We talk about the cricket scores or the price of things in the market. My equipment is nothing fancy but I know how to use it well. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit when it is on high speed. It is just a normal way to earn a living here in Bangalore. When the sun goes down the street lights come on and it looks quite nice from up here. I close up when the foot traffic slows down and head home.
