You’ll find us at 489 on Suttar Karkhana Road, right across from Maruthi Layout. Subramanyapura is a bit quieter than the city center, which we like. We’ve been running this shop for a while now. We keep a lot of different novelty items on the shelves. It’s a mix of things for kids and some household bits. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Often, we are moving boxes from the back to the front to make room. We have a few regular customers from the layout who stop by almost every week. It’s nice to know the people who buy from us. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure we have what people need. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind blows hard. We spend a lot of time wiping down the glass cases with an old cloth. Sometimes we get new items that we aren't sure will sell, but we give them a try anyway. It’s a lot of trial and error for us. We open around ten in the morning and stay until the evening. Usually, the last hour is the busiest when people are coming home from their jobs. We enjoy the routine of it all. It’s a simple shop in a good neighborhood. We just take it one day at a time here.
