Anoos Beauty Parlour

Anoos Beauty Parlour is over at New Thippasandra Narang Corner in the Kothrud area of Pune. The address says 343/1. It’s a busy little spot. We have been working here for some time now. Kothrud is a big place, but our corner feels like a small village sometimes because we know so many people. The shop is on a corner, so we get a lot of light, but also a lot of dust from the road. We spend a lot of time with the duster and the broom. It’s a ladies' parlor, so we do all the common things like waxing and hair cuts. The chairs are comfortable, though the upholstery is getting a bit thin in places. We have a small TV that is usually on some music channel or the news. People come in and talk about their families or what is happening in Pune. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and if we’re free, we start. If not, there’s a small bench to wait on. We use the same brands we’ve used for years. It’s a practical place. We don't try to be something we’re not. Just a local parlor where you can get your hair done without any fuss or high prices. It’s our daily life here at Narang Corner and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood routine.
