Annachi

We are located on 100 Feet Road in Indira Nagar, right near the 3rd Main junction at number 54. Being here means we deal with a lot of traffic noise from the main road all day. The place has a lot of big windows, so we get a lot of light, but also a lot of heat in the summer months. We have a few fans going constantly to keep the air moving. Our tables are mostly wood, and they’ve got a few scratches here and there from years of use. We don't have a fancy waiting area, so people just stand near the door when it’s full. The kitchen door swings back and forth pretty much non-stop from noon until ten at night. We keep the menus in a stack by the entrance, and they’re a bit worn out at the edges now. One of the lights in the back flickers sometimes, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the crowd that comes through Indira Nagar. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we just walk or take a cycle to get in. It feels like a second home because we spend more time here than anywhere else. We just try to keep the floor swept and the water jugs filled for everyone. It gets tiring but we keep at it.
