Ankith Provision Store

Ankith Provision Store is just a regular shop here in Bommanahalli. We sit right near Fusion Exclusive, so it is easy to find if you know the area. Most people use the Krishnanagar Bus Stand, and we are just opposite that. It gets pretty loud with the buses coming and going all day. There is always a lot of dust because of the traffic, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and packets on the shelves. It is not a fancy place or anything. It is mostly just us handling the daily stock, making sure the milk arrives on time, and keeping the pulses in their bins. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there in the dark for a while talking to whoever is around. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out. We have those old wooden counters that have been here since the start. It is a small space, really. Boxes get stacked up in the corners when the delivery truck comes. You have to step over them sometimes. It is just a basic neighborhood store where people grab what they need on their way home from the bus. We know most of the faces that come through. It is just a routine, day in and day out, keeping the place running and making sure things are where they should be for the next person who walks in. It isn't much, but it's what we do here in this part of town.
