Anjushree Beauty Parlour

Anjushree Beauty Parlour is over in Chamrajpet at 134/2. This part of the city has a lot of history and the buildings are packed close together. Our shop is one of those spots that’s been around for a bit. It’s located at 134/2, and the entrance is right off the main path. Inside, it’s mostly just the essentials. We have a couple of chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable enough. The mirrors are old but clear. I try to keep the place organized, though with all the bottles and combs, it gets a bit cluttered sometimes. Chamrajpet has a specific feel to it, very traditional and busy. The street noise is always there. We have a small sink for hair washing and a curtained-off area for other things. I usually start the day by lighting some incense and dusting the shelves. The floor is made of old stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. It isn’t a fancy place with bright lights and glass everywhere. It’s just a local parlour where we work. People know the address and they just walk in. I’ve spent many years within these walls, watching the neighborhood change while the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a simple life at 134/2. I usually sit on a small bench outside when there are no customers to watch the street.
