Anil Engineering Enterprises

We have been running this engineering shop here in Prakashnagar for quite some time now. It is located right on the 6th Cross near 2nd Main, which is a busy spot but it works for us. Most mornings start with opening up the heavy shutters and cleaning the dust off the lathe machines before the power gets steady. There is always a lot of noise from the street outside, but once the machines are running, you barely notice it. We do a lot of small parts and repair work for people who come in from the nearby areas. It is mostly greasy work and my hands are usually stained with oil by ten in the morning. The space inside is a bit cramped because we have stored a lot of old metal scraps and tools over the years. We do not have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small desk in the corner with a calendar and some old ledgers. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back window, but we just move the stuff out of the way. It is just a regular place where we try to get the engineering jobs done as they come in. Some days are packed with work and other days we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the next order. It is a simple life here in this part of Bangalore and we just keep at it day after day.
