Amvensys Technologies

Amvensys Technologies is situated at 9 1st Cross in Bangalore. This part of Karnataka, the 560 046 area, is where we do our daily work. The office is in a typical Bangalore neighborhood where the streets are a bit narrow and there are trees scattered around. We are on the 1st Cross, so it is easy enough to find if you know the landmark. Inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and people wearing headphones. We work on different technology projects, mostly involving a lot of sitting and thinking. The building is a standard concrete structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have a small area where we keep the server equipment, which makes a constant humming sound. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in the city. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of floors. We are a smaller team that knows each other well. We go out for tea at the corner shop when we need a break from the screens. The traffic on the main road can be heard from the balcony, but we mostly just ignore it. Our desks are usually covered in notebooks and stray wires. It is a practical environment where we just focus on getting the technical tasks done for the day. There is no dress code, so most of us just show up in whatever is comfortable for sitting all day.
