Our office is over at 125 Peenya Industrial Area. If you've been to Peenya, you know it’s a maze of factories, sheds, and narrow roads. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with various industrial supplies that the local plants need. The office is really just one big room with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are overflowing. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or coordinating deliveries to the nearby factories. It’s a dusty part of town because of all the construction and the trucks constantly moving around the blocks. We have a small warehouse area where we keep some of the stock, mostly stuff that doesn't mind the heat or the damp. The walls are a bit bare, and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for us. We don't really have walk-in customers often; most of our business happens through phone calls and old-fashioned paperwork. Sometimes we have to go out and meet people at their own sites to see what they need or to check on an order. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. It’s a straightforward operation. We get the orders in, we find the items, and we make sure they get where they need to go. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep at it every day.
