I work out of Dasarahalli, specifically at 217 Dasarahalli Chowpatty. The office is near the Aiyappa Temple, so it’s easy to find if you are in the area. I’ve been an LIC agent for quite some time and this has been my main spot for meeting people. The office is small and simple, just a place for me to keep my documents and meet with clients who want to talk about life insurance. Being near the temple means there are always people around, especially in the mornings and evenings. I often see people I know while I’m heading into work. The atmosphere is very local and informal. I don’t wear a suit every day unless I really have to. I prefer to keep things relaxed. People come in with their families to discuss their future, and we just sit and talk through the different plans available. It’s a lot of paperwork, but I’ve gotten used to it over the years. Dasarahalli is a growing area and it’s nice to be a part of it. I try to be available when people have questions, even if it's outside regular hours sometimes. My desk is usually covered in forms, but I have my own way of keeping it all straight. It’s just me here, doing the work and helping out. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but you just talk a bit louder and it’s fine. It's my small corner for work and I plan to stay for a while.
